web 2.0 services
Do you think this service can become addictive for users ?
I think these services can become addictive because they are online platforms for example snapchat is used a form of communication instead of physically texting someone , it has become the platform that people post their lives on , they would get into this everyday routine to post something because of the views , some people will feel the need to post on their story , they would use snapchat to promote their businesses etc. Another 2.0 service that would become addictive for users is twitter , that has become the new snapchat it is where people get their "news" from anyone could post anything and people will retweet or believe , twitter is another form of communication especially for young people , some would feel the need to tweet everyday , whatever is in trend would automatically become addictive . There particular services are the most addictive in my opinion because how the audience particular connects to these two apps . Another service that would come close to being addictive to user is Instagram people have got into their heads that they need to look like a particular person in Instagram because they have a certain amount of likes or followers , they want to dedicate their lives to making them look a certain way . Instagram is like the updated version of Facebook
In what ways are they interactive ?
These 2.0 services are interactive because they aren't restricted to just one country its worldwide to you could literally interact with anyone in the world , I believe that's why these particular services are so popular due to how much range they have ( Facebook , snap , Instagram , twitter and SoundCloud) , another reason is all these 2.0 services are free whereas other services and platforms aren't which makes it less interactive in my opinion . On all these platforms the interactivity is high because you can follow anyone add anyone , post anything , play anything , people can communicate and post stories make feeds , you can grow your platform on all these 2.0 services which could generate income , brands would even pay to interact with someone with a huge following just so they can generate revenue . Especially with Facebook you can literally search people by name whereas with snapchat and Instagram you have to search someone by their username , in terms which 2.0 service isomer popular I would say Facebook for the older generation .
How do they depend on user generated content from pro summers ? ( define both terms ) is this good or bad ?
