e.d. films Show Reel 2015 from e→d films on Vimeo.
This showreel shows a collection of different films and genres , it starts off with a boy wondering and then a title appears showing who made the showreel , i think this showreel is quite clever because they have taken aspects of different film and put them together to try and tell a story so instead of it being choppy its quite interesting to watch , it is a perfect mixture of animation and film in a perfect blend . They even included credits toward the end so if anyone likes what they see they know the crew behind it . The showreel is particular because of how well crafted and put together all the pieces are , it's a great representation of what the filmmaker can do . The sound in this definitely makes you feel as thought you are somehow apart of the movement , the sound track goes perfectly with the animation part of the showreel it builds it up . The showreel is very eye catching and would appear to animation clients . Literally the caption at the beginning is " stories that move" and that's clearly what you see from the beginning till the very end . This showreel showcases a lot of talent in graphics and storytelling , even from the small snippets we are seeing you can telp "e.d films " is a perfectionist , They have included some much content within such a small amount of time which I think is amazing. I really liked the different transitions used to blend with how the whole showreel has been presented. I like the constant inclusion of a young boy , there was a boy at the beginning , middle and end , and that clear bond between a son and his father , in this showreel its shown but it is different throughout that is what makes it interesting , each graphic is different visual wish but it has the same meaning .
